

Asociación Nacional de Pacientes de Quimioterapia – National Association of Chemotherapy Patients
This association was founded in 1988 and its objective is to improve life quality for oncology patients and their families in Panama who have limited financial resources. The funds collected during this event will go towards the purchase of food baskets for more patients who have little or nothing to eat in their homes during their chemotherapy treatment period. Since the 2013 Copa Tech Ops Golf Tournament, we have benefit 50 families in a monthly program.
2012:
We launched a feeding program for 25 under privileged cancer patients in Panama.
2013:
We increased the number of patients helped thru ASONAPAQ from 25 to 40 patients.
2014:
We maintained the feeding program with ASONAPAQ.
2015:
We maintained the support for 50 underprivileged patients monthly, in Cancer treatment.
2016:
We maintained the support for 50 underprivileged patients monthly, in Cancer treatment. A Beauty salon day was given to the patients and a Copa Airlines employees group gave first aid kits and meals for the hospitalized patients.
2017:
We maintained the support for 50 underprivileged patients monthly, in Cancer treatment. A Beauty salon day was given to the patients were they enjoyed a makeup and hairstyle looks. Additional a Copa Airlines employees group gave first aid kits and meals for the hospitalized patients.
