Centro de Alcance Positivo por mi Barrio 24 de Diciembre
Located near the Tocumen airport, the “Fundacion Ayudando a Vivir” with the support of the USAID program opened this community center in March 2012 for troubled youth between the age of 8 and 25 years old. The funds collected from this event will go towards the improvements of its sport facilities and education program for this center and sport field.
2012:
We support the facility improvement of the “Centro de Alcance Positivo por mi Barrio de la 24 de Diciembre”. This establishment is an after school centre for young kids in social risk within the Tocumen Airport area near Panama City. The funds for this Centre were used to build a Computer Centre to be used by the students
2013:
For the “Centro de Alcance Positivo por mi Barrio de la 24 de Diciembre” the funds helped in building a pre-school at the Centre. We were able to make a sizeable donation to the United Way to contribute with the maintenance of all the after school centres called “Centros de Alcances Positivos” in the Republic of Panama.
2014:
The funds were used to purchase a land to build a small sports complex at the “Centro de Alcance Positivo por mi Barrio de la 24 de Diciembre”.
2015:
New sport complex initiated in September of 2015.
2016:
Our contribution to “Centro de Alcance Positivo por Mi Barrio de la 24 de Diciembre”, will be used to finish the construction of the small sports complex and the installation of synthetic grass on the soccer field.
